Chase scene camera shots
Today we looked into the chase scenes more to find out what type of camera shots are mainly used in chases.
We watched a selection of films including;
* Bourne Ultimatum
*B13
*Kidulthood
* And other As media films produced by other students
We have noticed that we will have to make sure we capture a lot of footage in order for our chase scene to work. The reason we need to capture a lot of footage is because in all chase scenes, their is a vast amount of editing that has to be done in order for it to be completed.
The majority of the shots we saw today were;
* two shot
*long shot
*point of view
*close up
*extreme close up
*high angled
*tracking
*very long shot
In nearly all of the sequences we watched, they had certain shots e.g. close up of legs running towards the camera to show the speed of the chase.
The films also made it easy to distigunish who the characters were and their roles. They did this by dressing them in contrasting clothes to one another and making their body language opposite.
